This is horsedrum is 37 cm in diameter and a frame out of ashwood...
 
It is half haired...this because it was loosing hairs the moment I got it out of the water before making the drum....I was a bit disappointed, but then started taking of the hairs who were loosened and the rest stayed with this result...
 
A drum with a high tone when dry...
But goes surprisingly deep when moisty...
Flat when really wet...
